About Dr. Kwan

Dr. Heidi Kwan is a graduate of California School of Professional Psychology (Alliant International University) in Los Angeles. She received her Ph.D., Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Children and Families.

She has been licensed as a psychologist since 1997. Previously, she also practiced as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has enjoyed working with children, adolescents, adults, and families for over 25 years. She also has significant experience working with older adults (65+) and couples for over 10 years.

Dr. Kwan’s clinical experience includes working in private practice, psychiatric and medical hospitals, and mental health clinics. She enjoys working with people from a diversity of ethnic and cultural backgrounds with various levels of emotional and behavioral difficulties.

In addition to providing psychotherapy, she also has experience in psychological assessment for children, adolescents and adults.
