Couples Therapy: Working with Adults (age 18 to 65+)
Even good marriages have difficult, challenging time. Many couples are struggling with distressing demands of stressful family lives, jobs, finance, and raising children. These demands often can affect a couple's interaction, communication and relationship.
Sometimes, couples struggle with life transitions, intimacy issues, or unfulfilled relationships, which often provoke feelings of hurt, anger, disappointment, and mistrust. This is a good time to consider marriage counseling.
My Approach
Working with couples, I strive to be an objective, neutral party. My approach is based on the
research-based effective marital therapy methods. The goals are to help a couple to improve communication patterns, express appropriate feelings, listen to and understand each partner's needs
and expectations, restore trust, and build a strong marriage and family.
